Random Things That Happen In My Life

Hello Hello,   I have not posted in a long time so this post is going to be pretty random.  First off Christmas was great my favorite present was this really pretty sweater.  theres not allot to say about  Christmas since it is just one day and  the best stuff is in the morning so a few hours doesn`t give allot of interesting topics.  but as you can see I have posted the before and after pictures for the living room.  we did 4 rooms in total but i only did a before picture of the living room, but i might do after pictures for the other rooms in another post.  I am very happy with how the living room turned out.  I have had many pen pals in the past but I have decided to have a new one.  The whole idea of writing a letter with a stamp and everything is a cool idea,  but the obviously better end of the bargain is receiving letters.  i got a question a while back if i had any special new years traditions.  my tradition is to make a new years resolution and pretty much stay up all night.  I can`t think of  any special things that i do besides the basics so if someone has a better idea ya good for you.  i realise that this post is really random so i am going to stop before it becomes unbearable so

FIGURE SKATING

I know that I promised before and after pictures but, I got news!  I am in pain yep I fell skating on Friday morning and then I was skating Saturday morning and I fell again so right now it feels like I have a sprained wrist, bruised ribs, a bruised hip  and a twisted ankle, and people think hockey's ruff and figure skaters have it easy.  ya right well aculy that is what I thought and I took figure skating because it looked painless compared to skiing and hockey. So here I am in pain and there is no way that I am quitting.  competitions start in January so I need to heal and practise like there is no tomorrow or I will be for fitting because of injury which is not good because there is only another girl that I am competing against.  if this is confusing then I will explain.  So there are many different levels in a club I am in 6 and in the first competition i go against whoever is in the same level of the same club and there is one girl besides me.  so if this is last year and then I beat her and I went to another competition with all of the girls who beat the girls in there level and i got fourth so I really have no idea what happens after that but if I forfeit this year then the other girl in my level wins by showing up.  so ya good for her.  well there is not much more to say so bye Katie

MY ROOM

Hey, so my room.  I used to have carpet, but I changed it last winter to this beautiful  hard wood,. my floor gets really dusty, and i usually don't sweep so it was really bad.  I swept under all the furniture and decided to move it around!!  so this is what it looks like now. 
        we have finished the living room but there is still the dining room to do.   i will do before and after pics when it is all decorated,  and pretty.  I have figure skating tonight.  can't wait!  I like just herd of a thing called chartjackers.  it is so cool.  and i love the idea.  look it up i am sure you will not be disappointed.
    i have to go bye Katie oh  and ps i am thinking of doing a couple of pics of before and after  next time.

Painting

Hey yo all.  So life is good (temporarily).  Hows December going?  We are painting our living room and the dining room.  my mom is so picky about painting.  She has to go over the wall 5 or 6 times before Shes satisfied.  and i am doing edging so i have to paint the edge 5 to 6 times.  
          This picture is from the summer.  that kitten has been adopted now but her name is hope.  That's Julia sitting beside me.  Figure skating competitions are in January so i have allot of practising.  the program that i am doing is very very dizzy.  and allot of spinning jumps.  i can not find my iPod .  if anyone has any clue how to find an iPod please tell me!  i have to go bye Katie

My Sister

Hi, So It's Wednesday!  Oh and for those who do not know that I am home schooled,  I am home schooled!  (shocker).  The sun is coming up and it's brilliant.  I wish there is snow.   but it would be magical if it snows on Christmas eve!  this is a picture i took in my backyard.  this is a place that i used to play in when I was little.  of course there is more moss.  but it's still magical.  I used to think that this was a fairy palace ( I still do).  I am watching my sister this morning,  and she`s very grumpy,  I secretly call her a rock star (not in the nice way),  but don't tell her that.  Me and my sister are complitely different.  Example,  I wear earth tones- she wears pink and purple (all the time),  she has a temper me too but I can conteral it she CANNOT,  I am`usaly the calm one - let's just say she's not calm  I love change and travel and adventure-  she is better of at home,  I am 8 years older than her,  thankfully it would be a nightmare if I was younger,  I love jeans-  you cannot get her out of a dress.  that's all that  I am going to put down,  if I get into food that would take forever.

Happy Monday

Hey so Happy Monday.  Yes i Know Monday does have a reputation of being the worst day of the week , but if you look at it differently ( the mom way) Monday is the start of a fresh week full of exciting things and moving on.  I am usually not a downer (at least i hope not)  but summer is over and it is almost Christmas.  is it me or is summer waaayyyy to short.  they should make spring and fall apart of Summer and the scraps of that  can make up winter ok thats too dramatic.  I am making this blog mostly for the people that already know me so i am not going to do the (about me) thing,  but just to warn you, i might do it later just for kicks.  So my Monday went like this,  i slept in, got dressed, downstairs, make breakfast for me my younger brother and my younger sister,  eat, start school today is my turn to teach the kids for 30 minutes. so i do that and then i start my school after that i check my social networking site walk the dog TV start a blog meet Taylor swift and that's my day except for the last one (i wish).  so that's about it goodnight or good morning basically aloha.  bye Katie
